Giving back… Ranchers helping ranchers

These past few months have been devastating to many of our fellow Angus families due to the blizzard in South Dakota. Another disaster that affected one of our fellow ranchers in a catastrophic way was the massive flooding in Colorado.

Angus breeder Keith Russell of Johnstown, CO, has been a mentor and a friend to hundreds of us through the years. During Colorado floods, the Little Thompson River came through at 25 feet above flood stage. Keith lost all of his winter feed and most of his equipment, with severe damage to fences, buildings and his home. Our mentor needs a hand, and here’s our opportunity to give back!

An online auction of top quality Angus semen and embryos has been organized.

Ranchers helping ranchers is the best way, and here’s what you can do to help!

Please go to www.disasterrelief.dvauction.com and help yourself to these great genetics. In doing so, you will be giving back to our great Angus community. Bidding is now open. The sale ends at 12 p.m., CST Jan. 25. Special thanks go to DV Auction for hosting this online sale! Questions? Call DV Auction at 402/316- 5460.
