Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame to hold Sixth Annual Circle the Wagons Dinner and Benefit Auction in Bozeman Feb. 3-4
The Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame & Western Heritage Center (MCHF & WHC) will hold its Sixth Annual “Circle the Wagons Dinner and Benefit Auction” coinciding with the group’s sixth annual business meeting and trustees gathering Friday and Saturday, Feb. 3-4, at the Best Western Plus GranTree Inn in Bozeman, MT.
“The past year has been a transformative year for us,” said MCHF & WHC President DuWayne Wilson. “The MCHF & WHC members and trustees at last year’s gathering gave us clear and unanimous direction to set us on a new path toward the fulfillment of our mission and vision. We are working to determine the future building site for our headquarters and excitement for the project has never been higher.”
MCHF & WHC would like to invite anyone with an interest in Montana’s Western Heritage to attend the weekend’s events. The weekend will kick off with the Cowboy Social beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3. Appetizers and refreshments will be provided and entertainment will begin at 7 p.m. There will be no cover charge for those who purchase tickets to the Circle the Wagons Dinner and Benefit Auction. For others, the cover charge will be $5.
Registration will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4. This year’s event marks the first time MCHF & WHC will honor living inductees into MCHF. The MCHF Inductee Luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and will celebrate the notable accomplishments and lasting legacies the inductees have created.
The Annual Trustees Gathering will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The MCHF & WHC Annual Business Meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m. Current members in good standing as of Jan. 14, 2012, compose the voting body for the annual meeting. This meeting is held to elect the organization leadership as well as to address governance items such as amendments to the organization’s bylaws.
At 6 p.m. on Saturday, there will be a Social Hour and Auction Preview, followed by the Circle the Wagons Dinner & Benefit Auction at 7 p.m. Attendees will have their choice between a ribeye steak with roasted red potatoes or stuffed trout with wild rice and lemon beurre blanc. Tickets are $50 per person. The dinner features a fantastic silent and live auction of Westernthemed items.
