The Montana Red Angus Association (MT RAA) has set its tour dates for Sept. 4-5, 2010. Come join the South Central breeders of the MT RAA on the “RED LIGHT EXPRESS” and see the girls, girls, girls! There’ll be plenty of girls for viewing (the four-legged kind), tremendous BIG SKY country, and loads of hospitality. The tour will be headquartered in Big Timber, MT, at the Super 8 Motel and will depart each day via bus at 8 a.m.

This year’s tour will be incorporating the commercial breeders along the way, along with the South Central Red Angus Purebred Breeders. A special feature this year is the various marketing tools that are available to help cattlemen market their calves. Special guests from Superior, Mountain Plains Video and the Red Angus Association of America will acquaint you with their specific marketing programs.

Saturday, Sept. 4 will find us stopping at the Cremer Ranch, Schwer Ranch and off to Larson Red Angus for lunch. Back on the bus and headed up the road to Fischer Red Angus in Harlowton, MT. A special stop along the way will find us at the Judith Gap Wind Farm and then off to the foot of the Snowy Mountains to the Volf Ranch at Judith Gap, MT. After a long day of travel, good cattle and lots of fun, we’ll head back to Big Timber, MT, for a prime rib dinner and socializing.

On Sunday, Sept. 5 the tour will travel to Laubach Red Angus for breakfast and cowboy church. We will also be journeying into the Paradise Valley to Strawberry Ridge Reds in Livingston, MT.
