2010 Coors exhibit plans full schedule

The 2010 Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale is fast approaching and promises to be another outstanding display of western art. The National Western Stock Show (NWSS) is proud to continue their collaboration with the Denver Art Museum’s Petrie Institute of Western American Art and present WinterWest, Denver’s Premier Western Art Celebration. WinterWest activities begin Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2010, with the symposium at the Denver Art Museum, Shaping the West: American Sculptors in the 19th Century. Also, NWSS urges attendees to attend an important exhibit currently featured at the Denver Art Museum, The Masterworks of Charles M. Russell: A Retrospective of Paintings and Sculpture. This is the first major retrospective of Russell’s work in the country and features more than 60 important artworks, including paintings and sculptures. This is a major and nationally renowned exhibit attendees and visitors won’t want to miss and is only on display until Jan. 10.
