The weather was awful on sale
day, with ice on the roads, snow and
windy. A true testament to this program

For those who attended this annual
Angus bull and female sale, they
were greeted by a brand new sale
facility that by consensus is one of the
finest in the trade area. It was a large
crowd that turned out to appraise the
offering that sold in rapid-fire fashion
to 38 buyers from four states. The
cattle were presented in a very professional
manner and they were well
received. Rounding out the excellent
offering of Angus genetics was a firstrate
steak lunch that surely pleased

everyone. Volume buyers include

The days prior to this sale saw
record-setting cold temperatures in
the area and sent cattlemen scrambling,
but on sale day, the weather
turned warm and a blue sky was
welcome, allowing a large crowd to
attend this annual sale for the Vejraska
family. The offering was one of the
best for this family and as always, the
bulls were presented in excellent sale
condition and displayed in pens that
make viewing them easy. Demand
was very strong on the low-birth EPD
bulls and a good sale was the result.
The offering included some 2-yearold
bulls, with the bulk of the offering
being yearlings.
