THE COWMAN’S KIND BULL SALE
Feb. 27, Pendleton, OR
Angus bulls . . . . . . . . . . . . .$2,504 2-year-old Charolais bulls . . 2,150
Yearling Charolais bulls . . . . 2,093 Auctioneer: C. D. “Butch” Booker

A strong offering of Angus and
Charolais bulls from Dave Duncan’s
High Valley Ranch and Jim Anspach’s
Bar Six Ranch attracted a good buying
crowd to the Pendleton Roundup
grounds for their annual bull sale.
Also on offer was a select group of
horses from the King Ranch, Coulee
City, WA. These bulls are raised and
presented with the commercial rancher
in mind and each year they are
readily accepted. Many of the buyers
at this sale are repeat customers and,
as always, there are several reputation

ranching concerns represented.
In addition to the strong offering of
bulls, the famous Cowman’s Kind
hospitality was again very evident with
one of the sale season’s best lunches
complete with homemade ice cream
and cobbler. This is a fun sale that
tends to business, but also lends itself
to a very enjoyable day.
