Idaho Beef Council hires Davis as program manager

The Idaho Beef Council is pleased to announce Katlin Davis as its new program manager. As program manager, Davis is responsible for implementing the Beef Council’s market plan for increasing consumer beef demand throughout the state of Idaho.

Davis will engage in industry and producer communications, as well as implement state retail and foodservice marketing programs and promotions. Davis will also implement outreach campaigns to health and nutrition professionals to continue to strengthen beef’s position as the premier nutritional protein.

Davis graduated from University of Idaho in May 2008 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Industry Management and Communications. While in college, Davis worked for Sen. Larry E. Craig in Washington, D.C., for a semester as the agriculture/natural resources intern. Most recently, Davis worked for Davis Cattle Co. as the livestock manager. —WLJ
