Arizona National Livestock Show scholarship opportunity

The Arizona National Livestock Show (ANLS) Scholarship Program began in 1991 by awarding $13,500 to 11 students that year. Over 18 years later, ANLS has now awarded 537 students a total of $537,909.

ANLS is investing in the future of agriculture and awarding nearly $40,000 annually in scholarships to students who have participated in the livestock show. Scholarships are available to students attending an accredited university or college for the current academic year. Other requirements include: High School graduation; completion of at least 12 semester hours before applying; currently taking at least 12 credit hours; a minimum grade point average of 2.5 (A = 4); and prior participation in ANLS as an exhibitor, volunteer, or employee.

Scholarships are funded through donations to the show with help from the Arizona Horse Lovers Foundation. Application deadlines are March 15 for fall scholarships and Oct. 15 for the spring. Applications are available online at
