GIPSA rules on hold for economic analysis
USDA has reversed course on their plans to push forward with regulations to reform agricultural competition rules without an economic review. Last week in a conference with livestock industry representatives, Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack said the agency would conduct the analysis prior to finalizing its draft regulations.
