USDA: Corn harvest 38 percent behind five-year average

Poor weather conditions have hampered the harvest of corn and soybeans in most U.S. growing regions, according to USDA's Crop Progress report. Last Monday's report showed that farmers are falling farther behind in their push to get crops out of the field before they are damaged or become unsalvageable.
