ESA list could be expanded by re-evaluation of species

The Obama administration was poised last week to make major announcements about a number of species of plants and animals which were subjected to re-evaluation under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). Already, a number of plants were added to the list, including a species of plant, slick spot.
