Bank failure leaves Colorado producers in a bind

After the failure of Greeley, CO-based New Frontier Bank, USDA and Colorados congressional delegation are scrambling to help farmers and ranchers in the area secure funding for their operations. The bank, seized by regulators last month, provided funding for an estimated 1,900 operations in the area around Greeley.
