Senate votes in favor of death tax reduction
The U.S. Senate voted April 3 on an amendment to the budget which could allow significant reductions in estate taxes for farmers and ranchers. The Senate voted 51 to 48 to pass the amendment. The proposal will be included in the full budget which will be reconciled with a similar version passed by the House of Representatives in the near future.
