R-CALF responds to decision on bio-defense facility

The site selection process for a $500 million livestock and zoonotic (diseases that can transfer between animals and humans) research center came to a close on Jan. 16 when the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released its official Record of Decision selecting the campus of Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS, as the labs future site.
