USDA moves funds to implement COOL

With Country-of-Origin Labeling (COOL) in full swing, USDA has begun working to find various sources of funding for the program. On Dec. 22, Secretary of Agriculture Ed Schafer wrote a letter to the House and Senate notifying them that the Agriculture Marketing Service (AMS) would be moving funds to cover the costs of implementing COOL.
