Massive federal lands bill likely to face vote soon

It looked last week like the U.S. Senate might vote on the massive Omnibus Public Lands Management Act of 2009 by Jan. 11. The bill contains more than 150 public lands, water and resource bills and could have profound impacts on western resource users, particularly those who depend on public land grazing permits.
